Over the span of 15 weeks, this speculative "what-if" future project was grounded in real world data and research. My goal when designing this was to create a believable future through the creation of a cohesive visual identity. In order to bring this world to life I designed posters, maps, and personas that would represent life amid crisis. Through the lens of this future world, I examined how society might respond and what symbols, infrastructure and behaviors would emerge.
Personas
Main Artifact
I examined how society might respond—what symbols, infrastructure, and behaviors would emerge in a world where survival and contamination coexist. My designs invoke fear, hope, and power through strong image compositions and image editing. Red, Yellow, and Green reappear throughout my various assets to signify the connective tissue of my world building. I let the audience decide what these colors mean by creating detailed personas that roam the nuclear wasteland and dictate the world of the future. The final showcase highlights the desperate, human side of this dystopian reality.
